We have identified a smishing scam targeting Arbor Financial members. Fraudulent text messages containing links are being sent to members, leading to unauthorized access to their accounts.

How to Protect Yourself:

  • Do not click on suspicious links or share sensitive information via text.
  • Verify messages: Arbor Financial will never ask for your account details through text or email.
  • Monitor your accounts: Check for any unauthorized transactions.
  • Confirm that the link being sent to you is an arbor link.

How to Spot a Legitimate Text from Arbor

Arbor Financial does offer Text Alerts related to fraudulent card activity which will come from the phone number 91937. If you receive a text message from any phone number other than 91937, please do not respond.

In addition, Arbor Financial does not initiate personal conversations by text. Do not respond if someone claims to be from Arbor Financial and is asking for your account number or password. Please note that Arbor Financial will never ask for your account number or password.
